Descripción - Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar in a Parsi family from India in 1946. Mercury attended schooling in India from eight years of age and went to Zanzibar after High School. In 1964, his family fled to England die to Zanzibar revolution where he became the member of the band Queens in 1970 along with guitarist Bryan May and drummer Roger Taylor. Mercury stood out with his exceptional talent of singing in four octave vocal range. He was undoubtedly selling his voice as it made the band itself stand out. Mercury wrote 10 out of 17 songs in Queen's hit album. His flamboyant stage performances were often associated with his sexual orientation. In 1990 Mercury revealed that he has been diagnosed with AIDS. He died a day later due to the complications of the disease.
